Located in Craigellachie, « the golden triangle" of whiskey, Speyside Cooperage has been present or more than 70 years, in the heart of a region that concentrates two-thirds of Scottish distilleries.

Also located on a second site near Edinburgh in Alloa, Speyside has imposed its name and know-how in the United States, in Kentucky and Ohio.

It supplies the largest Scottish distilleries and distillers around the world with new barrels as well as with used barrels from the bourbon, sherry, port, Madeira and rum markets.

Its master coopers provide a range of services, from repackaging to sanding, and through to a system of controlled heating that extends the lifespan of the barrels.

For more than 25 year and to the great pleasure of its thousands of visitors, Speyside has offered site visits, which provide "the opportunity to highlight the quality of its work and the know-how that make its richness".
