On September 14 2012, European Heritage Day Francois Hollande visited Brive Tonneliers - Foudrerie François in Brive la Gaillarde. The French President paid homage to what he described as a “100% French ancestral know how” by blowing out the candles lit to celebrate the cask maker’s 10 year anniversary.

He praised the creativity and innovation of a small, local company that has become one of the world leaders in its field through technological breakthroughs like « l’oeufO’Wine »,  an egg shaped cask, and « Rubicuve »,  the world’s first cubic  cask.
