From wood to stainless steel: A complementary diversification through the acquisition of LEJEUNE

TFF Group announces the acquisition of SAS LEJEUNE,
a French manufacturer that specializes in the stainless steel wine industry.
The merger will enable TFF Group to widen its offer by giving it a foothold in the world of high-end stainless steel cask making, an activity with a great deal of potential. It is a diversification that fits perfectly with the Group’s strategy of finding growth opportunities in related trades and markets with a view to developing its global expansion.
Specialized in the field of stainless steel manufacturing since1975, the LEJEUNE family moved from the demanding world of food containers to cask-making, fast becoming a specialist in the design of the stainless steel tanks used in wine cellars.
Indeed through invention and technological innovation, the LEJEUNE company which is located near Saint Emilion, has become a leading player in stainless steel products for wine, through inventions such as the world’s first floating-lid stainless steel tank.
With a staff of forty, this family company has an annual turnover of around € 5 million, much of which is earned in France, with a strong current operating margin that is in line with the Group's current standards.
According to Jérôme François, CEO of TFF Group:
"The LEJEUNE family will continue to support TFF Group in the development of this high-technology and high value-added field, with stainless steal containers providing perfect complementarity with our existing wood businesses. "
I have great confidence therefore in the success of this "marriage" which perfectly embodies the growth and diversification strategy of TFF Group. "
