In line with the TFF GROUP’s stated growth strategy, two cooperages are joining the Group:

- 1 May 2014, "Maury & Fils Tonneliers", €1 million in turnover.

- 8 July 2014, "Berger & Fils", €3.5 million in turnover.

Maury & Fils Tonneliers

The "Maury style" is well known in the Bordeaux region and in Spain, in terms of both product quality and for the personality of its directors, three generations of Maurys who have built a reputation for quality, high-end research and attentive and direct contact with their user-customers:

- The grandfather founded the company and gave it a strong identity.

- The son, Serge, went on to carve out a brilliant career in Olympic sailing in the 1970s, on Finn: five times champion of France, twice champion of Europe, twice world champion and a gold medal in the 1972 Olympic Games – not bad!

- The grandson, Mathieu, is still at the helm of the family company, which has merged with Demptos in Saint Caprais and continues a family tradition of craftsmanship, based on exacting standards, human values and enterprise.

Berger & Fils

On 8 July 2014, TFF Group signed the second acquisition agreement of the year with another family company with a tradition of craftsmanship and values matching those of the Group.

Based in the heart of the Médoc and enjoying a very strong reputation for quality, its prestigious customer base in the Bordeaux region has expanded worldwide. Its production, of around 5000 casks a year, is directly complementary to that of Demptos in Bordeaux, as are their distribution networks.
